we are continuing our discussion about the story of greatest women ever walk in the face of this earth Maryam (as).
Previous episode I shared the story of her birth. Today I am going to share rest of her story including miracle birth of Jesus (as).
Marayam (as) story began with ibadha last episode I mentioned how her mother hinna promised to Allah to give her child on the way of Allah .This child none other than Marayam (as). The story began with here that time that society cannot even think one women devote herself on the way of Allah in mosque or temple . this thing only dominate by male but Allah plan different way. He (swt) choose Maryam(as) amongs the women of the world to fulfil His plan. Give her highest stautus. This story itself one of the witness for Allah female or male doesn’t matter. The righteousness and piety only matter to Allah. Yes it is fact gender is exist. We have different gender role. If any one deny this he or she will break the law of nature which we believers believe the law of Allah which made for our benefit . and violation this only bring imbalance in society. Now a days we are witnessing whats happening around us. What so ever come back to the story of Maryam (as).
Marayam (as) about whom Rasul Allah (saw) said – she is the best women of her time. What actually makes Maryam (as) so special?
Marayam (as) is example for us for her tawakkul and modesty and for her devotion and worship to Allah.
By her tawakkul and modesty and piety she was among those 4 women who perfected their imaan as Rasul Allah (saw) said.
Just imagine in her situation her time and society as a orphan young girl grow up in mosque devote herself prayer and suddenly one day angle Jibril (as) or gabrael came in her chamber while she was busy in prayer , he came in a form of beautiful handsome man. Look what was her first reaction – I seek refuge in AR- Rahman the most merciful from you if you have any consciousness and piety and fear of Allah.
Just think one young women sacrificed her all desire not busy in playing or hanging with others same age companion dedicated herself to Allah and when very handsome young man shape angle came to her when she was totally alone , she didn’t wait for his approach or wait let see what he will say …no she immediately remember Allah and ask refuge to Him subahnutala even Jibreel (as) say anything before.
These dedication piety and modesty makes her so special.
When Jibreel (as) gave her news of Jesus (as) , just put yourself in her situation the environment she used to live the society she used to live where even smell of adultery it was a death sentence for that women and here Angles informed her about boy she will give birth, not only that she already pregnant. Pregnancy itself painful experience for a women and imagine one young girl may be around mid teen age become a pregnant in the society there is no concept of without marry become a single mother. In that situation Allah choose her for this very heavy responsibility . the situation was painful she left the place where she used to stay , far from the society alone lonely she gave birth. When she felt the pang of delivery that time she said I wish I would have die before this….just imagine how much pain and how much anxiety she went trough because the humiliation and shame she would be face or need to go through.
But she didn’t ask Allah why I am going through all these pain because I am innocent and didn’t do any wrong and devote myself for you , no she didn’t ask like that.
Subahnallah think ourself how much sin we do and if we face some difficulties in our life we start the question why Allah this happening with us or with me.
Subahnallah May Allah saves us.
Here Maraym (as ) who dedicated herself for ALLAh who never spent playful time though she was young she have to go through the most difficult time because Allah choose her for special reason . there is a great lesson for us if we have to go through difficult situation it doesn’t always mean we have to sinful or we do mistakes no it can be Allahs test or Allah chose us for special reason to up bringing our status so Instead asking Allah why ? we need to turn to Allah as Maraym (as) turned what happen after that Allah comfort her Allah sent an Angles Allah show encourage her shake the tree to get dates fruits. The water spring create beneath her to give her comfort her. My brother sister from this story we can learn even the most difficult situation if we turned to Allah the mini miracles can happened our life we will get comfort or help from the place we never ever imagine or think. In Quran Allah said who ever puts his trust in Allah , Allah will find a way out for him.
After she gave birth she was so tiered jibreel (as) comfort her to inform her Allah will make you legend . and Allah informed her she have to back to her people and she will not gonna defend herself Allah will defend her. When she came back to her community her son Jesus (as) speak from cradle on behalf of his mother to defend his mother and declare his prophethood.
From Maraym (as) there is so many thing we can derive and learn and connect in our life.
Maryam (as) didn’t give up or didn’t run away from the reality or responsibility she had put on . she didn’t deny to go face her people with this awkward reality, neither she arguing with the decree of Allah. Yes she felt pain but she always turned to Allah and put tawakkul on Allah and perform her responsibility.
Subahnallah now a day we become so ungrateful for small difficulties which may be not a fraction to compare with the Maryam (as) what she faced.
May Allah gives us taufik to learn from our pre decessor and strong our tawakkul to Allah subahnu ta Ala .
